Oh my, how things have changed in just a few months time.
Since then, Lisa and I arrived back in Beantown for a few weeks of beautiful weather...the operative words here are "a few weeks." Anyhow, the next 6 months or so brought us something like 50 inches of snow. That may not sound like much, but remember, we're from Texas where an inch of snow paralyzes entire communities.
So, today's date is May 9th and Lisa is wrapping things up at her job. She recently accepted a new job with the Harbus Newspaper as the Advertising Director, which should be a nice change of pace. Jimmy is in the midst of papers/finals at the Kennedy School - 3 down, 3 to go!
In several weeks, we depart for Copenhagen with another couple - the Gimbels. Afterwards, they return to Boston so AT can graduate while we leave on a cruise to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! Lisa's parents are also joining us to celebrate their 30th anniversary :-0. The cruise will be 10 days and in total, we're setting foot in 7 countries. You can check out the itinerary here. Afterwards, we're doing a pit-stop in Reykjavik, Iceland before returning to Boston. All in, we'll be sleeping in foreign beds for nearly 3 weeks.
Then its back in Boston. Time for Jimmy to work while Lisa enjoys the summer off. Lisa will be jumping back and forth between California, TX and the East Coast while Jimmy works at Jumpstart, a nonprofit dedicated to early childhood education. We're excited about spending the summer in Boston and exploring the Cape, Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard! Let us know if you have any suggestions :-).
Well, that's it for now. Here are some pictures from this past winter for your viewing pleasure.
