Spring has arrived!

The date is now May 18th and its now official - spring has arrived! The weather has been like something out of a Californian fairy tale - 60s during the day, 50s at night! People have suddenly come out of the wood-work, and Harvard Square has been buzzing with activity. The flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and the river has been packed with kayaks/crew boats.

In celebration of the weather, we decided to venture out of the HBS bubble for the Boston HarborWalk, a fantastic paved trail along Boston's waterfront. The neat thing about the path is that it crosses through a number of Boston neighborhoods, from Dorchester to Roxbury to Southie. A true gem with some great sights along the way!

We decided to enjoy the weather during a "relaxed" run which turned out to be 8+ miles. Jimmy almost gave up, but thanks to some marathon-like mental agility, we made it through to the painful end. We started at the John F. Kennedy Museum complex at UMass Boston, which is an awesome site. Definitely a must see...and if you go during the last 30 minutes, its half off!!

Here are two photos of us stretching in the grassy area in front of the JFK Museum & Library.

Afterwards, we ate some Pho at this great hole-in-the wall restaurant called Pho 2000 at 198 Adams Street. A well-deserved 4 Star rating on Yelp...and super cheap! The extra large bowl is a ridiculous amount of food for $7.25.
