Smuttynose Half Marathon!

This past Saturday, we ran the inaugural Smuttynose Half Marathon at Hampton Beach, NH. Luckily the race started at 10am, so we didn't have to leave Boston until around 7:30am (Hampton is only about an hour from Beantown). The morning was pretty gray and dismal but by 11am or so, there was not a cloud in the sky!

A few really cool things:
1) Jimmy beat his previous half marathon time by 25 minutes! Needless to say, the course was really easy!
2) The fall foliage was gorgeous and we saw numerous mansions along the coastline
3) Free beer (courtesy of Smuttynose) and a free concert by Entrain

Well, that may be the last half marathon for a while, considering the fact that its rainy & windy today...and snow is on the forecast!
