Head of the Charles Regatta

Last weekend was the Red River Shootout, aka the big TX-OU football game. It was a bit sad watching the game, as it reminded us of the TX State Fair, which is basically the largest state fair in the country with lots of rides, exhibits, and of course -- food. Most of it fried and in large quantities.

Luckily, this weekend was the Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge. While its not the TX State Fair, there was still lots of fried dough, hot dogs, and even some "chowda in a bowl." Anyhow, we browsed around, got some freebies, and enjoyed the brisk fall day in Cambridge.
